Have you ever wondered how museums decide what to collect, how they store and look after their collections or how they put together an exhibition? This is your chance to find out! As part of our National Heritage Lottery Project we’re offering visitors the opportunity to see inside a museum store and meet members of our collection team

You’ll also find interactive challenges dotted around the museum which will give you an insight into contemporary collecting, interpretation and displaying objects. For younger visitors we have a family trail, games, dressing up and craft activities.
