Beck Isle is a fantastic museum for schools to explore independently or we can provide trails and workshops to suit your class and topic. A visit costs just £4 per child, with 1 free adult allocated for every 6 pupils.

Enjoy a morning or afternoon exploring the museum. Step back in time with your class and imagine what life was like in this thriving market town. Visit shops from the past, marvel at our printing press, learn about traditional crafts and think about how we used to farm.

We can offer workshops to explore old toys, traditional crafts, butter making and behind the scenes at the museum. We are also happy to discuss creating a bespoke workshop for your class.

We’re really excited to be part of ‘Out of the Box’, an exciting new website that provides learning resources to use with school and community groups.
