We have an exciting exhibition called ‘What’s in Store?’.

Bringing rarely seen objects out of the store, it showcases the fascinating and unique stories from Pickering’s past. From everyday objects with surprising histories to remarkable finds, these objects have been carefully selected by volunteers and community groups.

With support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we’ve started a big project to revitalise our collection. We’re carefully reviewing what we have, making space for new stories and ensuring that every object we keep is properly cared for.

The objects below were all discovered as part of this process.
