Go Wild! Celebrating Earth Day

Saturday 20 April 10-4pm

Go Wild at the museum! We’re celebrating Earth Day by looking at how we can make our gardens more wildlife friendly. Visit the museum to decorate a blue heart to show your support of rewilding small areas of your garden, hunt for garden creatures hiding in the museum, listen to stories by author Lizzie Pepper, create a recycled caterpillar and plant a sunflower! When you’ve finished at the museum why not visit the nature and wildlife fair at the Memorial Hall, take a stroll up to Smiddy Hill to admire the yarn bombers wildlife work or pop into the library to see the wildlife photography exhibition.
