Join us for a creative and relaxing day learning the skills needed to weave a basket. All materials included in the cost.
You will be guided through each step of the weaving process and the small group size means that extra ‘hands on’ support is available. At the end of the day you will have created a willow basket to take home. All materials and light refreshments included in the price. Please bring a pack lunch.

Your tutor will be Janice Burley. Janice set up Down 2 Earth over ten years ago, initially focussed on garden design. After lots of interest in her woven fence panels in her “Take some Thyme” show garden at Harrogate Flower Show (Spring 2019, Gold Award) she began to develop the willow weaving side of her business.

Janice has now been running willow weaving workshops for the past few years, both in her own garden and at other venues. She will talk through and demonstrate each step of the weaving process with you, and can give extra ‘hands on’ support if required. All materials and light refreshments included in the price.
